In large companies mentioned that system because it's easy to identify the Cenvat amount.

if you have purchase an excise invoice sheet from a stationary shop it is being mentioned clearly that bed & cess should be mentioned in words.

it is a right practice to mention both bed and cess in words in excise invoice,there is a provision of that in the excise invoice itself
