My Client runs cowshed ie Gaushala......whether it is charitable activity covered u/s 2(15) ????
actully i hv to prove it to Commissioner for 80G registration....

There are few charitable institutions that maintain cowshed and ask for donation to support the cows. They offer to take care of a cow for 1 year, 5 years 10 years or a life time on the doner's behalf. The donation is eligible for exemption u/s 80G. One will have to look at the documents provided by the charitable institutions at the time of donation.

you can take it under other activities...
since that is a residuary head under section 2(15)
Recently pune tribunal held the same not to be covered under section 2 (15)
