Is there any timeline to stop using old company name once MCA approves the alternation in change of name request? Also is there any penalty?

There is no such rule. However, once the name gets aproved by MCA the company needs take up new name, with immediate effect, in all its correspondence with all its stakehoders.

However what if the company doesn't take up new name? Is it not decieving public at large?
