A Pvt Ltd Company incoporated in Goa wants to add Organic Farming into its line of business and hence it wants to change its Objects. Also, since Organic farming wil now be one of the main objects, it also wants to change its name. What is the stepwise procedure for the same?
Also, whether an advertisement in the Newspaper is required?

You did not mention what is the present Main object of the said company, stiil the general procedure shall be as follow:-
1) alter the mian object clause of the comany in duly called Extra ordinary General meeting ( if already in lines with farming, then add new sub clause............... if carrying on any other diff business, then replace the existing mian object completely with the new one.
File form 23 with MCA for Special resolution passed in EGM.
2) apply for new name in form 1 subsequnt to change in object, give the same reason in form also. when form 1 gets approved called EGM & pass special resolution for new name of the comapny.
3) file form 23 for special resoltuion passed in EGM for acceptance of new name by shareholder of the company and form 1B to intimate CG of new name of the company.

No Advertisement in paper is required......................only you need to mention on the letetr head of the company for 1 year..............." Earlier Known as..........................."(old name of the company.)
