Change in place of supply
We issued e invoice, 24 hours over. We want to change place of supply from karnataka to goa. What to do?

Yes you can do it.
E Way Bill cannot be cancelled after 24 hours...
Issue a Credit Note favoring the first recepient ..Issue a new Invoice for the new destination and new eway bill with the despatch location( Current place of goods0 ;if the good have already been dispatched...
We can modify an e- way biil if there is a change in the Transporter or Vehicle but place of supply cannot be modified ...
Once invoice is issued if it's directly linked with e way bill in the software. Otherwise very difficult to change. there are ways however.
Whether the change in place of supply will change the GST from IGST to SGST/CGST or vice-a-versa.
If the above is not the case then you do not want to cancel the bill because it is in transit, you can edit the bill manually in Form GSTR 1 at the time of return filing.
The recipient may has to reject the supply before unloading the goods.But supplier will be cancell the during the 24 hours.Not used same invoice number with EWB for another destination of recipient.
