MY FRIEND DOING BUSINESS IN A.Y.2014-15 BUT SOME CIRCUMSTANCES HE CLOSE OWN BUSINESS & DOING JOB IN A.Y.2015-16.CAN HE NOTIFY THE INCOME TAX DEPTT. FOR CHANGE IN ITR FORM.IF NOTIFY THEN SUGGEST ME HOW TO CHANGE THE FORM.

Hi,
There is no need of any intiamtion to IT Dept. He can stil file the salary return. Only difference would be assessing the income under different heads for the Assesstement years.
Would suggest no action in this regard. Just make sure that u preserve the business documents till AY 14/15.
