Change in iec, before goods received at airport

Sir/Madam

We are software compnay, provides a software for gps vehicle tracking sloution also import and export devices for same, recently i changed the name of my company from Hitech Agricare Pvt Ltd to Axestrack Software Solutions Pvt Ltd., earlier i was doing all the transaction on my ex-company IEC but now recently i applied for new IEC for my new company name, this process took around 15 days, meanwhile i ordered another consignment, before it could reach me my new IEC code start reflecting online. I only came to know this through my agent once consignment reached here on airport. Now my cosigner is saying they can't do anything as the consignment already reached source destination and its been more than a week now, as we were trying from our end to sought out things. i asked them to send us a letter but… In short, they gave up on this.

I spoke to Cargo people, they want a letter from shipper/ Consigner stating change in consignee name .

I will be thankful, if i can have your expert advice, what further i can do.

if IEC CODEALLOTED & RECEIVED BY YOU , THEN PRODUCE ALL THE DOCUMENTS.

WHAT IS QUERY EXPLAIN..BECAUSE THIS IS YOUR FAULT YOU EXPORT THE GOODS ON OLD COMPANY NAME IN MY OPINION YOU MUST ORDERED / PRODUCUE DOCUMENTS AFTER AMENDMENT THE IEC CODE.

We changed the name in all the papers, opened the bank a/c and done rest of the formalities first, and you know sir all these things takes good amount of time. We urgently required goods so we ordered the consignment. Till the time we made the order we didnt received the IEC code for new company, we didnt received any letter yet, it changed online. And we applied around 20 days back may be more from the date it start showing online, we cant stop the work and sit still until we receive the new IEC Code. That time we can't even order it on new compnay name untill we don't have IEC code in hand.

Anyways.... now what happened is happened. I can't change it a bit.
I request the expert to suggest what can be done now. So i can release the goods.

Only and only if, you havent cleared the goods yet, you can clear it under the new IEC Code. There should not be any problem if you produce revised PO and Invoice duly authorized. You can cancel the PO issued by the old co name. Costoms is not concerned with that. The present iec, PO, invoice and delivery address should match.
