Change in date of birth

why dont you take a new birth certificate with date of birth which was there in your academic records,

yes,it is better to take new birth certificate specifying that you dont have birth certificate,

or else

if there is any problem i guess we can manage people over there by bribes

Dont even dare to request ICAI for change of date of birth because you may land up in serious trouble due to this. ICAI asks for the photocopy of mark sheets/admit card of class10 board exams and the date of birth given that is considered as a proof of your date of birth. Even for passport purpose i suggest you to give the same date of birth as in your certificates. Otherwise this will be very serious issue.

Agree with Ashish... Don't do anything.. Sorry but tipacally saying.. This is India.. Don't do anything.. After official disclosure you haven't any help from our backward system..!!!

Sterday i called to CA Institute. They said like send a covering letter and copy of birth certificate.. chances are there to change ur date of birth..

But they say like i wont get any confirmation letter..

I asked for change in the birth certificate as per my Transfer certificate. Intially they said one day no problem lastly they didnt do it given for only actual date of Birth..

Some of my friends are telling that better apply it in court and get it changed even if it takes time....
