Change in address for excise - dealer

Dear All,

I have registered as Exicse - Dealer in month of Jan 13, i am looking to change my address to a nearby locality for various reason , which would fall under same range officer... what is the procedure for the same ... can i do by simply notifying Related officer by application and giving new address proof .
