Quick Summary
This discussion addresses an issue where an income tax challan paid at a bank counter expired on its expiry date, yet the tax amount was debited from the bank account. The user is unable to see the challan reflected on the website, even after the payment deduction. Advice suggests waiting for funds to be returned or checking emails, as it may take up to a month to reflect in AIS or Form 26AS, and filing a complaint with the ITD helpline if necessary.

Have you received back the funds in your account within five working days?

If no, then wait and check your email.

Finally in AIS, it will reflect in about a month's time period.

Sir not yet displaying any challan in ais niether in traces form 26 as.

Challan created on 18 April to 3 may expiry,  chq presented at bank counter on 27 April amount deducted from bank on 29 april as per bank statment, recd the MSG of challan expired on 3 may, no reverse entry any thing yet in bank.still challan not reflecting even after amt deducted.

There was a holiday on 30 April and 1 may might that could effect the challan amt initiating just a guess

If the amount has not been reverted to your bank account, wait for some more time, otherwise you can file complaint with ITD helpline.
