Also my previous year AY(2021-2022) refund is adjusted with above AY(2017-2018) due to incorrect challan details.  Now I am done with challan correction, same also reflecting in form 26AS . How to claim the adjusted refund back Please assist me.

Write letter to your AO for rectification of demand and for refund

Is this can be done in online?

File rectification for AY 21-22 by selecting return data correction and uploading file again. This is what was suggested by CPC to me for one of my client.

Rectification can be made online but for refund you have to write letter to your jurisdictional AO.

Try online rectification once from services menu after login to Income tax e filing portal

 -- It shows,

There is no difference in the data between the current rectification request and that present in the return/ rectification filed earlier. Since there is no change in the data, there is no mistake that is sought to be rectified. Therefore the rectification request cannot be entertained.

Submit grievance after responding to outstanding demand..

Or You may do rectification - reprocess the return for AY-2017-18
No way other than rectification, you may also apply for manual rectification from jurisdictional AO.

You can pay rs. 10 as self assessment tax and then incorporate the same in your application.

This would be a change separate from the original return and might allow you to upload rectification application

No need to pay tax , just you have to file rectificaion.

Drop a PM if any help is required. Few similar issues are resolved recently

I had paid selfassesment tax of 10 rs. Please let me know how to edit ITR .json file.

Use the input file to do corrections
