Can a director be the Chairman of the Private Limited Company having 1 lac paid up Capital. If yes/No give the ref. of the Section.

The Board has to elect the Chairman of the meeting among themselves. Any member of the Board may be elected Chairman. A member may also be elected as Chairman for all the Meetings of the Board and he may also be designated as Chairman.
