Happy Diwali to all you :-)

 

 

I will like to know the difference between a Customs House Agent and a Clearing and Forwarding Agent.

 

 

In service tax, both these are mentioned as different services, so what is the difference between the two??

Clearing forwarding agent is one who keeps stock of principal and clears them according to prinvipals instruction while custom house agent clears goods thri7gh custim authorities in course of import or export on behalf of hus principal
