Cfa or acturial science

I was about to appear for CFA L1 this December; but dropped the idea as recently as two days ago. Primary reasons being modest job prospects and having to appear for 3 CA Final subjects again in November..

Now one of my friend is planning to join Acturial course.

Anyone who has an experience or has cleared a subject or two may please be kind enough to pour in their experiences in terms of future Prospects and any other advices..??
