i ve heard good encouragin stuff nd at the same time quite disheartenin talks abt cfa and its criticism here and der....since u ppl are onto this... can u let me know wat is the prospects of this course.. and how does it help ne one...nd most importantly are u satisfied tat u are doin somethin substaintial and worthwhile???
IF YOU DOING USA CFA THEN WILL HAVE VERY GOOD SCOPE..BUT THE MARKET IS VERY BAD NOW SO YOU WAIT AND DECIDE TO DO CFA....ITS HAVE 3 LEVELS AND ITS VERY GUD COURSE....BUT AFTER MARKET IMPROVE YOU CAN TAKE THIS COURSE....... DONT TAKE ICFAI ONE,, IF YOU WANT TO DO THEN TAKE USA ONE, BUT NOT THIS TIME WAIT FOR SOME TIME....
Hey this is the right time to pursue the course. By the time u complete it, markets will be on th epeak.If u wait now for the markets to come up and then take the course at the boom u ll be awasting another 2-3 years. Go for it!!

If you are interested in a career in capital markets or investment banking, CFA is a better choice. There are thousands of openings for Financial Analysts in India and Abroad.
CFA (USA) needs some practical experiance before you are awarded the CFA Charter.
CFA (ICFAI) has no such restrictions and if you have already completed CA, you can get some papers waived off in the first level.
