Kindly confirm that i interpreting notification 8/2014, correct. as per this notification if we are providing Rent a Cab service and taking the benefit of Abatement still we can use CENVAT Credit of the services which is being directly related to rent a cab like if we are hiring it from the other service provider and CENVAT Credit is maximum upto 40%
kindly confirm.
If service provider is availing CENVAT credit, then he can not avail benefit of abatement.
THEN WHAT DOES THIS NOTIFICATION INTEND TO SAY?. EVEN BEFORE THIS NOTIFICATION WE WERE NOT NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE BENEFIT OF CREDIT IF WE ARE TAKING ABATE MENT.
