I am trying to file online er-1 of March-2015. from 1st March 2015 Rate of Excise duty is 12.5% and education cess is removed. but I when I tried to upload er-1 I have found the error message about rate of duty What should I do for it ? I have paid duty by two challans. Online return utility allow me only one challan details Where should I mention Second challan details.? I have also cenvat credit balance of both cess can I utilized it against payment under 12.5% rate.

Dear Sir,
Please change rate of duty on basic 12.5%, Ed Cess 0% and Sh Ed Cess 0% in Online verson of ER-1.
Ed Cess and Sh Ed Cess can not be utilised for payment of Basic Duty.

I think I shall wait for notification about cenvat credit utilization of both edu.cess against basic duty of 12.5%.
Dear Sir,
When i Filed ER-1, i got the option of many challan.
After mentioning one challan detail. Click the ADD Button and then mention detail of other challan. If you do not get this option then call to Excise Desk.
