Dear All,
We have to take Central Excise Registration, but we have lease deed for the open plot with compound wall. Still we have to take plan approvals and construct Factory building.
Now can we take Central Excise Registration on open plot to procure Plant and machinery, other equipments and to avail Cenvat credit on the same?
We have obtained PAN and Sale tax registration on Registered Office.

construction of building is not a short time work, neither you are going to receive the machines before your buiding completes.
you need regn only at the time of delivery of machines from suppliers end, so 1st build your factory and at finishing stage, ask for regn, submit the order copies and proforma invoice issued by machine suppliers to department, and they will issue regn instant.
