sir, my client cash payment to municipal tax rs.133000 by cash. is it allowable or disallow under income tax act. electricity bill also paid by cash rs.81000.
explain cash payment exceed 10,000 to govt dept is allowable ?

Payment made to electric department is not covered under payment to government. hence it will not allowed
Payments to electricity company in cash is held allowable by the ITAT
