Cash Gift in appreciation of service given to employee

Hi All,

Please let me know if "Cash Gift" provided by the company to the employee on appreciation of his service attracts FBT or not.

I have a document taken from internet which says it does not attract.

CASH GIFT TO AN EMPLOYEE ARE TAXABLE IN THE HANDS OF AN EMPLOYEE SO IT IS NOT TAXABLE UNDER FBT
