can somebody please explain me the treatment of "premium on redemption of debentures/pref shares" in cash flow statement.

Dear Nidhi,
It will be deducted from cash flow statement under the Cash Flow from Financing Activities.
And not from cash flow from operating activities?

yes,
it is also added in the cash flow from the operating activities.
Deduct from the cash from financing activity and added to operatiog activity
It is added in operating activity and deduct from financing activity
It should be added as a non operating income for calculating net profit under operating activity and also same amount shall be deducted under financing activity
Inflow(added) in cash flow from operating activities as a non operating income
And deducted undr financing activities
