There is no limit for depositing cash in current account. You can deposit s you want.
However you have to provide your PAN No. if you deposit more than Rs. 50000/- in A/c
The bank will report to the income tax department if Cash deposit/withdrawal in aggregate is Rs 50 lakh or more in a current a/c under Rule 114E.
