Please help me to understand the specific audit procedures of cash and cash equivalents to be carried out for consolidated financial statements, where the company has numerous bank accounts nationally as well as internationally.

Practically it may not be possible to check each bank account closing balance . So check the audit version of accounting software followed by them .
