Can anyone point out to me under which chapter the CARO, 2015 has been discussed in the ICAI Study Material for Final May 2016 exams.
I was going through Chapter 8 - Audit report under Paper 3. The Practice Manual refers to CARO, 2015 for few questions, however I could not find any discussions regarding the same in study material; as well under Chapter 6 - The Company Audit.
Any help will be appreciated.

Which edition are you referring? The Jan 2016 edition has CARO in the chapter Audit Report on page 8.21.
I was looking at the edition published here https://www.icai.org/post.H T M L?post_id=12385 which states that it's for May 2016 exams. As per initial pages it shows its Jan 2015 edition.
There is another link pertaining to Nov 2016 exams and it's edition says it's Jan 2016 and it does contain CARO, 2015 in page 8.21.
CARO, 2015 is applicable for May 16 exams right? Why hasn't institute included it in May 16 study material?
Update: I called up the student advisory helpline number and they told me that for May 16 exams, January 15 edition of study material is applicable. And for any amendments check the RTP and also do the practice manual (January 16 edition).

Hi harsha, for academic updates u go through May 2016,RTP. along with Jan 2015 edition study material..
