Hi,
I would like to know as to the account head under which wooden flooring,skirting etc are to capitalised under.Whether the same is to be considered as building or furniture.Since the life of the wooden flooring which is laid on top of the concrete flooring is different and clubbing it under building and providing a dep at a lower rate doesnt appear to be right
You can show it under the head “Fixtures & Fittings”
No i dont think that wooden flooring will be capatalised under head furniture and fixtures as it is a part of building and should be capitalized under head building
