please let me know the status of the capital gains bonds in the envent of death of the bond holder,
as per me the bonds should get transfered to the nominee on submission of death certificate/succussion certificate.
but some of my colouges of the view that
the bonds will be redeemed in the event of the death of the bond holder and the nominee will get th redumption amt on submission of the death certificate.

sir, acc. to me Bonds will be transferred to Legal heir &he can transfer these bonds after 3 years including the period of holdindgof previous owner.
