Is there any recent notification for extension of time limit for investment in Capital Gain Bonds (54EC Bonds) ? It has the time limit of 6 months from the date of transfer of the property as per section 54EC. Please advise.

I think it is extended up to 30th sep. U may Google for the notification.

Capital gain bonds or 54EC bonds are the fixed income instruments that provide capital gains tax exemption under section 54EC to the investors. These bonds are issued by infrastructure companies that are backed by the government. Hence, the risk factor gets mitigated by buying such bonds.
