Capital gain sec 54f

Hi friends, I sold my long term asset in the year 2023 and from the proceeds I have constructed a house on my wife's land inherited by her father's will ( not registered or no sale deed). can I claim exemption on capital gain from sale of property by this construction of house. pl advise.
