Registration is done on 30-09-2013.

A possession letter  was given on  20-02-2020

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether the capital gain on a Mumbai flat sale qualifies as long-term or short-term. The key debate centres on which date determines the holding period: the registration date or the possession date. While one opinion suggests short-term gain, another argues for long-term based on the registration agreement, citing relevant rulings.

It's a short term Capital gain.

Based on registration agreement, right in the property is acquired on 30.09.2013. As such it becomes LT holding.

Dhirajlal Sir  Please site some  Rulings in  Our  favour

Thanks in advance.
