I bought 1000 shares of a listed company in 1980 @ 1000 each. and sold it in 22-23 . fmv on April 1 -2001 April is 1500 .
my doubt is what is the actual cost of acquisition ?

Take FMV as on 31.01.2018 as COA for calculation of LTCG u/s. 112A of IT act.....
