while filing return break up of quarterly short term capital gain is been asked and dividend also quarterly asked. How to get quarterly details bcz broker gives yearly capital gain details.
pls advice on the same.

You can check details from AIS or from bank account. Ask broker he will provide you quarter wise details of dividend.
26AS /AIS DOES NOT ALWAYS GIVES SUCH DETAILS. ITS IMPERATIVE THAT SOME CALCULATION FROM THE BROKER IS REQUIRED.ANY ONLINE TRANSACTIONS CAN BE DEMANDED from the service provider.
Major online brokerages are providing a realized gains/losses statement for the FY which also has the computed capital gains amount on each trade. You can easily compute the quarterly capital gains details based on the dates and enter them in the ITR.
