I've started jewellery showroom & took Gst number.. (Composition scheme)
But for some reason I have to stop business.
Around 2 lakhs of gold purchase on my GST number.
now I want to cancel my number.
I've Filed two nil returns. no sale of goods made yet.
so, can I cancel it directly or need to do something with goods..??

If You have not sold goods in actual during the period in which you have hold GSTIN than No Question arise by the Deptt
