Sir,

If you are using commercial gas cylinders, saller issue you against TAX Invoice and in your registration certificate, this mention as input material/consumable then you able to avail the input credit of VAT for settlement of vat payment.

Further, the dealer who sale you gas cylinder will agree to give you appropriate FORM, which is naccessary for claiming Input VAT credit at the time of VAT assessment, otherwise you have to pay this amount i.e. Input VAT availed, alone with interest.
