In financial year 1920 we have uploaded our sell bill GSTR1. But mistakenly put a wrong value. Can we amend it now?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether a GSTR1 filed for the financial year 2019-20 can be amended due to a mistakenly entered value. The consensus is that direct amendment of a previously filed return is not possible once the time limit has passed. However, any errors can be rectified in the GSTR1 filing for the subsequent tax period. It's also advised to check for audit applicability and consult with an auditor for guidance on adjusting turnover figures.

No, time limit for amendment is already over.

A return once filed cannot be revised. Any mistake made in the return can be rectified in the GSTR-1 filed for the next period (month/quarter). It means that if a mistake is made in GSTR-1 of June 2021, rectification for the same can be made in the GSTR-1 of July 2021.

Check, you are liable to audit u/s 44AB..
Then consult with the auditor and do the best.

Now, you adjust it in the coming months, there is a chance for variation in the turnover figures.
