RS 1000/- is the loss...simple. :)

ans : Shopkeeper received 1000 from exchange of note which was fake . out of which he gave 800 to women . 

After that he is left with 200 . 

So when shopkeeper came he gave him 800+200=1000 

Goods given also 200 

so loss is 1000/-

 

 

800 cash loss 200 stock loss

The loss amount is Rs. 2000/-. 

 Rs. 800/- returned back to the lady

 Rs. 200/-  cost of material

Rs. 1000/-  Fake note (as this note will not be encashed by shopkeeper hence it should count to his loss)
