Can NGO (Section 8 Company) charge fee from the students in return for educational services?

We are a section 8 company (Not for profit) established to provide after-school support to help students of Grade 11 and 12 from low-income families to continue with their education.

These students go to their regular schools and in the evening attend sessions with us to get academic support as well as support towards employability skills.

We also help some students to pass Grade 12 from the NIOS board.

Our annual operational expense per child is Rs 10,000.

Can we charge an accountability fee from the students? (Let's say Rs 4000)

(The rest of the amount can come through donations and grants)

As long as the amount should not exceed the donation amount and is used for social cause it's all ok..
