Hi,

I am a self-employed professional. Can I file ITR-4 on my own?

My total income is less than 2.5 lacs so I hope it is not needed to be audited by a auditor.

For many years, I had been using the service of a Tax Consultant. But, this year my tax consultant has doubled his consulting fees for filing of returns and also he is not filing returns in time.

I maintain proper accounts (expenditure, income, bank current account in company anme etc;).

Yeah u can very well do it by yourself. Tax audit also not required. Just keep reference of previous ITR forms for easy understanding and start making it on your own :-)

You can file your return but you should take some guidance or help of some other person because may be you don't know the IT Act or Rules So take some suggestion befor filing like u ave done now

No need to consult an auditor just refer last year ITR forms and go through a head. First u have download winmann or other e filing software you can easy to process from that
