Can i file income tax return for fy 2014-2015 now?

Hi,  I got an initimation from income tax department regarding not filling of income tax return for FY 2014-2015. Can I go ahead and file income tax return for FY 2014-2015 now? Actually I was non taxable for FY 2014-2015. Appriciate your quick response as I need to give appropriate reason in the income tax site against the notice.
