Quick Summary
Yes, if there is any tax liability.
Filing of ITR u/s. 139(8A) of the act is possible with 25% interest over tax liability, as penalty.
But if there is any tax refund, go for sec. 119(2b) of IT act for condonation of filing return...
Original return and belated returns can't be done but Updated Return can be filed if the GTI is above 2.5lacs and if there is any tax liability

For AY 2022-23, it is possible, but not for earlier years.
But, in case you get any enquiry from IT department, then you can....
