Can i do ca
dear friends I had completed articles in 2001 but appeared exams in 2009 got nearly 40 marks in group 1 of ipcc, iam working as tax consultant. my query is it possible to compete c.a. now iam 36yrs

Not a big issue to start ur ca again. You have to register again with bos

Yes of course i appreciate your confidence
as you mentioned you are Tax Consultant, you no need to focus in Direct tax rest others to be concentrated.
Age doesn't matter.. 
Self belief, dedication, patience are the some of the key attributes to succeed in CA Examination.

Certainly you will complete,don't worry start your studies seriously,ignore about the age factor.All the best.
Age don't matters,I know one person from chennai name SD bala sir,enrolled in 58years age, he completed his CA. He was visiting faculty at prime academy chennai,authored so many books.

Write down the papers which your comfortable with and share it here, so that CCI members will be able to give you a very good review of your existing strengths and the key areas which requires you to pay attention, in order to take a right decision.
