as you mentioned you are Tax Consultant, you no need to focus in Direct tax rest others to be concentrated.

Age doesn't matter.. 

Self belief, dedication, patience are the some of the key attributes to succeed in CA Examination.

Certainly you will complete,don't worry start your studies seriously,ignore about the age factor.All the best.
