I got exemption in law with 60 marks in ca final in novmeber 2015 but didnt clear the group. I claimed that exemption for may 2016 exams. But i again couldnt clear the group but got exemption in SFM with 76 marks in may 2016. Since I cannot take both exemptions in two different attempts, can I take exemption in SFM for nov 2016 and surrender my law exemption?.. Is there anyway how i can avail exemption in SFM for Nov 2016 by interchanging the exemption?

You can take both Exemption for Nov 16 Attempt. That means Only Audit and FR exam you have to give.
Exemption is valid for Next 3 attempts unless you miss an attempt. Then Exemption is lapsed.
Nov 15 Exemption of Law is Available for you Till May 2017 Attempt
May 16 Exemption of SFM is Available till Nov 17 Attempt
nope..sfm exemption is not exemption at all..

@ akash update ur knowledge......u cant avail both exemption obtain in diff attemps .u can carry only one which u want too
icai rule is, you scoring above 60 shall not withstand as exemption until the existing exemption is exhausted.
so scoring exemption in that group is possible after may 2017 only, if not surrender before writing an exam..
This is extreme bad luck... Fail with 2 exemptions!
Agree with Ruskin, you will get not exemption for SFM as u already had one exemption from previous attempt.

For claiming an exemption u should be present in all papers of the group.
since u were not present in law paper(as u claimed exemption in it) u cannot claim exemption in SFM..
and there is no rule that u cannot claim 2 exemption.
You can even claim 3 exemption(If you have scored 60 or above in 1 attempt)
yes even I feel u cannot avail both the exemptions as u know in our marksheet its written not eligible for any other subject exemption
In oneattempt if u get exemption in 3 subjects all 3 r valid
