Can ca be a life insurance agent

I believe that a Practicing Chartered Accountant cannot act as an insurance agent. This can be a conflict of interest and may force him to do compromises in his professional assignments to get more business as an insurance agent. Therefore strictly speaking a CA cannot function as an Insurance Agent as well.

but before becoming CA if, he became insurance agent, can he continue after  CA..... or surrender his agencyship or any other option..........rly plz.....
