One of our clients has started a new business of producing iron. can he claim any deduction under any section of chapter VI-A?

80 G, 80 GGA, 80 GGB, 80 GGC

If you are asking about deduction in respect of Profits and Gains from the business of manufacturing of iron, no deductions are available at present except deduction u/s.80-IC and 80-IE for certain undertakings in certain states and subject to certain conditions.

Dear preliminary exps. are not covered under Ch. VI-A deduction.
