now iam a pcc student, when i registered for articles i din't get the identity card. Is it compulsory to submit to ICAI when we complete our articleship.

No the identity card is not reqd to be submiited to ICAI on completion of articleship.
ya i agree. but it will be benificial for future refrense. You can take I card from Inst. just sign it from your employer & afterthat sign it from icai official. you can take i card from icai enquery counter & sign. it from Article section 3rd floor.
