Hi to alll

I was asked this question by my boss, I NEED HELP.

In which case recever of the service will deduct Service tax from sevice provider and remitt the same to the Govt.??????????

can any one tell me that if we are coming under service tax in case of transporter fot hte goods and consinee has the liability to pay the tax for the transport service above RS. 750/- e.g: 1200 the effectve rate will be 1200*12.36% my question is that can i pay service tax on the services paid in cashor i can adjust the service on inputs which have recd. is adjusting is possible or not

hi, i have a client registered under the category "event management service" , he has raised the bill for election commission during last loksabha elections for the service rendered , but the election commission has not obliged to pay the service tax , the EC claims that if any service rendered to EC does not attract service tax, pls anyone confirm under which notification , act and rule this is exempted

I am having leased out 4 commercial propertiesand collecting service tax @ 12.36 % and regularly depositing the service tax.Can you please enlighten on the following:

1.Rs.10 L LIMIT IS FOR EVERY YEAR.OR ONCE YOU REACH 10L IN ANY YEAR THAN YOU ARE LIABLE TO PAY EVERY YEAR WHATEVER BE THE TURN YEAR.

2.IN CASE IN SOME YEAR THE TURN OVER DOES NOT EXCEED 10 L DUE TO SOME COMPANY VACATING THE PREMISES THAN WHAT SHOULD BE DONE. IS IT 10L PER COMPANY?
