can anybody help me in taxation?

A production manager in film industries fill his return by which ITR form?

Plz tell me im very confuse..

The Relation between Production Manager and the Film Industries is assuming to be of principal and agent......... not of employer and employee.........

If the Production Manager is working in the capacity of employee.......... like in the case of Director working in the company, both as an employee and non-employee............, it would be treated as salary received from the film industry and it would be taxable under the head salary and ITR-1 would be used..........

But in this case, i am suggesting ITR-2 for being income received under the head other sources...........

if employer had deducted tax at source than?

then obviously it's employer-employee relation......... and income would be taxable under the head salary (ITR-1 would be submitted in that case) and for TDS deducted he can claim its credit in ITR-1.............

what are you saying.............. i have given my answer.............. if form 16A is issued to him......... then its income other than salary and ITR-2........ taxable under the head other sources.........

The person will file itr 4 and it will be treated as his profession.here he can even show his tds also .if the person has not entered into an agreement and not receiving an agreed amount periodically then the relationship of employer and employee would not exist and hence the income will be treated as of a professional one.
