CAN A QUALIFIED CA ACT IN MOVIES ?

Yes, A CA in practise can act in the Films,

In One of our Telugu movie One of the Central council Member acted , Hes was the boss of the Heroien,

But He should not disclose, his firms name in the Film, It  tantamounts to Professional Misconduct as per Clause 7, Part-1 , First schedule.

Why Not ???

Prior permission of Institute may be necessary for engaging in other profession.

i think satish shah is also a CA. he must have taken permission though.

I think Prior Permission from ICAI is Compulsory. but not sure yar

I also thought prior permission of ICAI is reguired and institute never stopped any of its member to act in the film because by this the name of institute may be famous more to general public.
