Can a md of a listed company represent group pvt co. in agm?

Dear Members ,

Can A Managing Director of a Listed Company represent group private companies having common directors in the AGM of the Listed Company ? (both as a MD and as Representative of other group companies in which he is also a director)?

 

As per section 113 of Companies Act 2013. Pls guide.

Rahul,

 

Yes, He can be representative of group companies at AGM of Listed Company even though, he is MD of Listed, there in no bar in Act.
