Campus Placement -- Please please help me !!

Hi All

I have just become C.A in july,2010.My articleship ended in Feb,2010 and my GMCS Classes will get over on 12th August,2010.

I am clueless about ICAI Placement.I wanted to know if i can skip Sept Placement and sit in Feb-March placement ???

For getting registered in Sept,registration have started and will last till August 3rd..I called ICAI helpline number for placement but as expected from ICAI People,they talk so so so so so rudely to me.I mean i gave my entire energy in becoming C.A and when i see my own insitute people treating me like street dog,it gives you sick feeling..

That guy told me that i cannot skip Sept Placement and if i miss it,i would not be allowed to sit in future placements.He quoted "Tum Budhape mein nahi baith sakte placement mein " you can imagine how enouraging these peoples are..

Please let me know whether what this guy told me is correct ? Whether i can skip Sept placement and sit in Feb placement..???

Please reply ASAP as time is running out and i am cluless.I dont have any seniors to ask and all i have is you to whom i can ask...

Please help and guide me about this..Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..I am very very nervous

Abhishek,

Sorry to say this..but you will not be allowed to sit in Feb placement...

You will be elligible sit in first campus placement held after you clear ur final nad complete your Article n GMCS..

Even one of my friend missed out last year becuase of such confusion..

But buddy dont worry...if not campus..u can get a better deal if u apply for a job directly.

Belive me on that!!!!!

Dear Abhishek,

This is true that you can't skip the first placement. If you skips this, you wont be eligible to appar in any other placement. Placement opportunity is only for newly enrolled members.

Further, I would also suggest you to appear in this placement. As you know, the result of this time was very poor, therefore, you could get a good offer.

Hi Abhishek,

I think you can skip sep placement & appear for Next campus since your GMCS is pending.... Keep visitng CMII website...

But I dont understand why you dont want to appear for sep placement.... For registering campus, it is not mandatory that you must have completed GMCS....

I appeared in March placement & after campus is over i underwent GMCS training....

hello, Sekar and R.D. Khan plz.. write your view only if u r 100% sure, yaar. u r not right.

Abhishek u r not eligible for campus in sept. b'coz for that it is requirement that your articleship should get completed b4 31-10-2010. u r eligible for march campus only. u can skip this. And dont worry u r allow in March campus. I m 100% sure for this.
