Remove the notion of small town, small firm etc, since you feel these may be obstacles for your career progression, and then I would strongly recommend you to attend such programs. Attending interviews, interacting with fellow Chartered Accountants etc., is a quality that you need to build over a period of time, if you think you lack those.

When an opportunity knocks at you, you must always make full utilization of it. Shed the fears or negative notions that you are carrying and re-discover your inner strength by exposing yourself to the challenges of this competitive world.
